The month of August is always a flurry
of motion in the bookstore as we prepare
to get ready for ArmadilloCon in Austin,
TX. This year's guests are Sean McMullen,
Charles Stross, Jim Minz, Charles de
Lint, Jim and Laurie Mann and Ctein.
There will also be a great many authors,
editors and artists at ArmadilloCon
this year, so I urge you to take a
look at the website (www.armadillocon.org)
and get familiar with who will be autographing.
If you wish to order books to pick
up or have me get signed for you at
the convention, please get your order
to me by August 10th to ensure that
I can have them for you on time. I
am more than happy to hand deliver
them to you at the convention, saving
you the bother of making sure you remember
to pack them in your car. (Speaks the
voice of experience.)
I hope to be able to deliver these
newsletters on a more regular basis
(at the beginning of the month) in
the upcoming year. Many of you have
commented on how much it helps to see
the upcoming releases and I always
appreciate the kind words and the sales
that all of you give me. Remember that
we not only sell fiction, but also
sell art books, non-fiction and textbooks
and many other genres. If you need
a book, always feel free to drop me
an e-mail and I will get back with
you in one (1) business day.
See you soon,
Willie Siros
